The host of Maakye on Onua TV, a Ghanaian journalist, has come under fire from Rightify Ghana, a human rights group in Ghana, for insulting the vice president of the United States and using foul language.
The organization claims that the journalist’s treatment of Kamala Harris on his live broadcast was unethical, misogynistic, and unprofessional, despite the fact that the majority of his accusations against her were untrue.
Captain Smart swore on his last drop of blood and promised “bloodshed” before Ghana will accept LGBTQ people. He also accused the presidency of being senseless.
He simultaneously referred to the vice president as a “false Muslim” and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as a “fake Christian,” threatening to rally the youth against government officials.
Captain Smart said to Kamala Harris, “You are a disgrace to womanhood,” in reference to her. Because your father had intercourse with your mother, she gave birth to you.
Among other derogatory remarks, he noted that Ghana had a culture before querying the hues utilized to illuminate the Jubilee House during the arrival of the US Vice President.
On March 26, 2023, Douglas Emhoff and Kamala Harris, the vice president of the United States of America, flew into Accra to begin their state tour to Ghana.
