In barely six hours after its debut on Boom play on Friday, the much anticipated album “Timeless” by Afrobeat singer Davido had gathered one million streams.
The album is presently at No. 1 on Apple Music’s Top Albums Chart in 17 other countries in addition to Nigeria and the UK.
Early on Friday morning, Davido posted a message on his social media accounts announcing the arrival of the 17-track album.
“At long last – WE are back. The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind to say the least,” Davido wrote on Twitter.
The “Timeless” album’s singles also dominated Sierra Leone’s Apple Music Songs Chart, where they peaked from number 1 to number 17.
