In a 121-114 Game 3 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Friday night at Footprint Center, the Suns shooting guard once more came out on fire. He scored 18 points in the first quarter alone.

The Suns star ended the game with 47 points on 20 of 25 shooting, including a 5-for-8 mark from beyond the arc.

Phoenix co-star Kevin Durant concluded with 39 points despite a sluggish start of 1-for-7 shots, only scoring three points in the first quarter.
However, despite shooting only 12-for-31 from the field, Durant scored 14 of his points on 16 attempts at the free-throw line.
Chris Paul, the Suns’ starting point guard, was absent due to a left groin strain he suffered in Game 2.
According to reports, Phoenix anticipates Paul won’t be available for Games 4 and 5.
Cam Payne started in his place and played for almost to 30 minutes, scoring seven points, dishing out six assists, and committing one theft.
