Following the fatal stabbings of a young man and a teenage boy in north London, a man has been detained on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
The 46-year-old guy was detained at a police station in north London after being taken into custody on Saturday afternoon.
On Thursday at 11:33 p.m., there were complaints of a stabbing in Elthorne Road, Islington, and police were summoned.
Just after midnight, a 15-year-old Islington resident was stabbed and killed there.
He is now known as Leonardo Reid, according to the Metropolitan Police Service.

A third person, a 28-year-old guy, was stabbed but his wound was not deemed to be life-threatening. A 23-year-old man was also wounded and was taken to the hospital where he eventually passed away.
The victims’ next of kin have been informed, and they are being helped by professionally trained staff.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted in due course.
Chief Superintendent Andy Carter previously said: “My thoughts are with the families of the two victims who have suffered such an unimaginable loss in this shocking and unacceptable incident.”
