Bayern may make a shocking Casemiro offer
Casemiro, a midfielder for Manchester United, is reportedly a target for Bayern Munich.
The team of Thomas Tuchel is looking for a new defensive midfielder, and the former Chelsea manager is a major fan of the Brazilian.
For £70 million, Casemiro moved to Old Trafford in the summer of last year, and he has since established himself as a key member of Erik ten Hag’s squad.
The five-time Champions League champion is credited with aiding his new team in capturing the Carabao Cup in March and securing a promising spot in the top four race.
This season, the former Real Madrid midfielder has five goals and seven assists for United.
He is also a strong candidate to receive a Premier League Player of the Year nomination.
“Casemiro, in this team, he is such a leader, and he is so important for us,” the Man Utd manager told reporters.
Tuchel, a former Premier League manager, doesn’t seem discouraged despite his importance to the Red Devils.
