The Ghana Police Service’s Ashanti Regional Command visited the Maa Adwoa family and gave them boxes of water.
During the one-week observation, according to the uncle of the deceased who spoke exclusively with Akosua of Ghpage TV as monitored by Ghent Multimedia, the regional police chief visited the home to mourn with the family.
According to the uncle, the police advised them to accept everything in good faith during the visit and not let the terrible situation involving one of their own cause them to lose hope.
He further claimed that they later sent the family 20 boxes of mineral water in total, asking them to use it to treat visitors who come to pay their respects after their daughter passed away.
The Uncle said that the police had added something more to the water, but he declined to reveal what it was to the general public. All he could say is that the police department had done a great job.
The deceased’s mother is in regular contact with Inspector General of Police Dr. Dampare, who has reassured her not to worry since justice will undoubtedly be delivered, according to the uncle.
