    Student from KNUST dies in heavy accident on Spintex road

    Leticia Abena Achiaa, a student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), is said to have perished in a horrific accident.

    When the BMW they were riding in overturned at the Accra Polo Club road on the Spintex stretch, the level 300 student was riding with two other men.

    The white unregistered saloon automobile reportedly somersaulted many times before coming to rest in a gutter. Only Leticia, age 22, who was one of the three occupants, died; the other two were unharmed.

    Her friends and classmates at KNUST have flooded social media with condolence comments. On February 2, 2023, plans have been made for a burial.
